Project Overview:
The project “Path to Justice: A Legal Support Initiative for Victims” focuses on enhancing support for victims of criminal offenses in Serbia, including victims of gender-based violence, torture, and hate speech. Through free legal aid, strategic litigation, capacity-building training, and an advocacy campaign, YUCOM aims to improve victims’ access to justice, ensure effective legal representation, and strengthen institutional support. The initiative targets both immediate assistance for victims and broader systemic change to align Serbia’s legal framework with EU standards on victims’ rights.
